MaryLou Astorino, Au.D. has worked as an Audiologist in the Johnstown area for over 40 years. She previously worked for an Ear, Nose, and Throat practice and joined Laurel Highlands Hearing and Balance where she will continue to provide audiological evaluations for adults and children as well as hearing aid recommendations and fittings based on patient’s needs and lifestyle.
MaryLou earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Master of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University and Doctor of Audiology degree from Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Astorino is also licensed by the state of Pennsylvania and Board Certified by the American Board of Audiology.
Dr. Astorino is a member of PA Academy of Audiology and a past President of PAA.
Suzanne Schilli, Au.D., CCC-A has been practicing audiology in the Johnstown and Somerset areas since 2009. Since that time, she has been honing her diagnostic and rehabilitative skills. She began serving individuals with cochlear implants which allows them to reduce travel time for programming and evaluations. Her clinical areas of interest include diagnostic testing, hearing aid fitting/troubleshooting, and cochlear implant assessment and programming.
She earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Hearing Science from The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. Her clinical externship year was completed at Charlotte Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat in Charlotte, NC.
Dr. Schilli is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the American Board of Audiology (ABA). Additionally, she also holds a certificate for audiology precepting through the ABA. She is also a member of the American Academy of Audiology, American Cochlear Implant Alliance and Pennsylvania Academy of Audiology. Dr. Schilli is licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Caitlyn Gallaher, Au.D. CCC-A, has been an Audiologist in the Johnstown area since 2020. Prior to becoming an audiologist at Laurel Highlands Hearing and Balance in 2024 she obtained clinical expertise as an audiologist at an Ear, Nose, and Throat practice. She completed a clinical rotation with UPMC Williamsport Ear, Nose, and Throat and her clinical externship year with UPMC Somerset Ear, Nose, and Throat. Dr. Gallaher’s clinical areas of interest include vestibular testing, audiologic evaluations of adults and children, amplification services, and hearing protection.
Dr. Gallaher earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology as well as her Doctorate degree in Audiology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Gallaher is licensed by the state of Pennsylvania and obtained the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
